Head of FRWO said: "Natural resources belong to the future generations and natural resources management is an integral part of sustainable development. If natural resources management is not taken into account in the development of the country, it will definitely face serious damage".
According to FRWO's website, Dr. Massoud Mansour, Deputy Minister and Head of FRWO in an interview with IRIB Salamat (Health Channel/ an Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting television
channel, broadcast in Worldwide) stated that we take great strides
in preserving and reviving the natural resources of our beloved country and FRWO is a good trustee
for our children and future generations.
He said: "Iran is a developing country and development is inevitable, but development in different parts of the country should be commensurate with the advantages of region and in a way that causes minimal damage to natural resources."
Mansour called the role of local people and communities in extinguishing natural resource fires important and said: "Last year, some local people were injured in firefighting and some lost their loved ones".
"A regulation entitled "Sacrifice in the Service" is being approved by National Disaster Management Organization (NDMO) which can solve many problems," Mansour reiterated.
